"The Albright Institute" Postcard Print on Canvas of Watercolor, Acrylic and Ink (2020). 12 x 16"

On a sunny Jerusalem day the Albright Institute shines. Located along bustling Salah ed-Din street, the institute gardens offer a small piece of tranquility amidst the clamor of the city. A sight many have called home - a home for archaeology, research and most of all, community.

About the artist:
Madaline Harris-Schober (Maddi) is a PhD candidate from the University of Melbourne and Ludwig Maximillian Universitat Munchen focusing on Philistine Ritual Architecture. Born and raised in Melbourne, Australia, Maddi has always had the urge to travel and further understand the world, therefore Archaeology seemed to fit this desire perfectly. Maddi works on archaeological illustrations and the artistic reconstruction of ancient buildings when she's not thesis writing. Maddi wrote her PhD proposal at the Albright Institute during an internship in 2018, resulting in the successful admission into the program and an undying appreciation for the wonderful institute that opened so many doors.
